Youth Support Program

SCV Children remain in the villages until they reach the age of 16. At age 16 to 18 they move to youth  homes as a transition period. At the age of 18 (depending on their level of maturity and readiness) they completely move out of the youth homes and integrate with the community.

To ensure there smooth reintegration with the community these youths before they move out they are provided with proper orientation, follow up and support and life skill trainings. After they move out of the villages they are responsible for buying their groceries, prepareing their food, and other household chores. Till they graduate they receive monthly allowances which covers the cost of rent, food, transportation, clothing, education and educational material.
